About us

History you can touch

We believe that learning history should be tangible, emotional and accessible to all – not
just facts in a book.

Making history personal

Sabra Map was born from a simple idea: turning maps into powerful tools for learning, playing and connecting.
We help families, educators and curious minds explore Israel and the world through hands-on play.

We believe geography is more than borders — it’s about people, stories and the way we live together.

Who’s behind Sabra Map?

We’re a small team of educators, designers and parents passionate about history and pedagogy.

Based in Israel, we create games and tools that make big topics feel personal and meaningful.

What we stand for

Because how we teach history shapes how we see each other.

Hands-on learning

Because touch and play build memory.

Dialogue & empathy

To help kids see beyond headlines and sides.

Historical accuracy

No shortcuts or simplifications.

Seeing all sides

Because history looks different depending on where you stand.

We also speak at schools, events and communities

Beyond selling games, we lead talks and workshops for groups who want to explore history through maps, storytelling and play.

Whether you’re organizing a teacher training, a cultural event, or a community discussion, we’d love to take part.

You don’t need to be a client to invite us — just curious.
